Its accelerometer detects shocks, records activity and orientation changes such as tipping, and a built-in thermometer adds temperature (±1°C), all reported periodically or the moment an event occurs. Position is derived from LoRaWAN network geolocation (TDoA), typically to within 50–500 metres, with no GPS receiver to drain the battery, so a single lithium cell lasts up to five years. The IP68 housing attaches magnetically or with adhesive to containers, tools or machines.
