Compact and contactless, the R313LA detects whether an object is present within roughly 5 cm of its infrared eye and reports over LoRaWAN, making it a simple way to know when a consumable has run out. Netvox positions it for toilet-roll presence detection: mount it inside the dispenser and it reports when the roll is gone. Two CR2450 coin cells power the 57 × 35 mm unit, and there is nothing to wire. Because it sends only a presence or absence state, data traffic is minimal. Common applications are washroom consumables monitoring, restocking alerts for dispensers and other short-range presence checks where a contactless trigger is needed.
