R718MA
The R718MA is a simple LoRaWAN beacon for keeping track of where equipment is. Attached to a trolley, pallet, tool cage or vehicle, it checks in with the network at a set interval; the receiving gateway's signal strength and quality readings indicate whether the asset is still within the expected area or zone. Two AA-size lithium batteries power the 112 × 65 mm unit, and a magnetic base allows it to be fixed to steel assets without tools. Sensor messages are protected with AES-128 encryption. Typical deployments include confirming that hospital or warehouse equipment has not left its zone and locating shared assets across a site.

R718MA sends its data over LoRaWAN, so it needs a LoRaWAN Gateway in range. Works with any LoRaWAN Gateway, such as the UG65. If you already have a Gateway on site, you can skip this.
