R718PC
Any RS485 device becomes a LoRaWAN node with the R718PC. It polls the connected instrument with read commands you configure, at a set interval, and forwards the responses transparently to your gateway, so existing Modbus meters, controllers and sensors can report wirelessly without modification. As a LoRaWAN Class C device it also receives network commands at any time. Power comes from a 12 V DC adapter, the enclosure is rated IP65 (IP57 optional) and a magnetic base allows quick fixing to steel. Applications include reading energy and water meters, connecting HVAC controllers and inverters to a cloud platform, and integrating third-party RS485 sensors into a LoRaWAN network.

R718PC sends its data over LoRaWAN, so it needs a LoRaWAN Gateway in range. Works with any LoRaWAN Gateway, such as the UG65. If you already have a Gateway on site, you can skip this.
