R719A
Fixed to the road surface, the R719A is a bay-by-bay parking occupancy sensor that and reports whether a vehicle is present over LoRaWAN. It combines a geomagnetic detector with a 60 GHz radar (6 cm to 2 m range) for dependable detection across vehicle types. The IP67 housing withstands 10 tonnes for 30 seconds and operates from -20°C to +75°C, suiting hot climates. Two ER18505 lithium batteries deliver around five years of service, and the unit is switched on and off with a magnet. It is used for guided parking in car parks and on streets, enforcement of reserved or EV bays, and utilisation analysis.
