R720A
With a measuring range down to -40°C, the R720A is intended for freezers, cold rooms and other low-temperature environments where a standard sensor would struggle. Temperature accuracy is ±0.5°C and humidity is measured across 0 to 100% RH at ±4% RH. The IP65 unit measures just 88 × 65 × 19 mm, fixes to steel shelving or a chiller cabinet with its magnetic base, and runs for around five years on two AA-size lithium batteries at 15-minute reporting over LoRaWAN, with no cables through insulated walls. Applications include cold-chain compliance logging for food and pharmaceuticals, data-centre and server-room climate monitoring, and general environmental monitoring in smart buildings.
