With a single buried probe, the R900PB02AO1 reports soil moisture (0 to 100%, ±2% below 50%), soil temperature (-40°C to +80°C) and electrical conductivity (0 to 20 dS/m), the three readings that matter most for irrigation and salinity management. A digital output can switch a valve or pump when a threshold is crossed, and data is also sent over LoRaWAN with 10,000 readings stored on the device. Two ER18505 lithium batteries provide around 7.5 years of service, the IP65 unit offers seven mounting methods and setup is via the Netvox NFC app. Applications include irrigation control for landscapes and sports turf, greenhouse and field agriculture, and green-roof monitoring.
