Using second-generation time-of-flight depth sensing rather than a camera, the VS133 counts people passing beneath it with up to 99.8% accuracy while collecting no images at all, making GDPR compliance simple. It supports four counting lines, regional counting with dwell time, group counting, adult and child differentiation, staff detection and both motion and dwell heat maps, and it works in complete darkness. Mounted on a ceiling of up to 3.5 m, it detects its own installation height for quick set-up and reports over LoRaWAN, with a million records held locally and 4,000 packets retransmitted after any outage. Typical locations include retail entrances, office corridors and metro stations.
