The VS361 is an entry-level footfall counter for shop fronts and walkways that detects passers-by from the reflection of an infrared beam over an adjustable 1 to 9 m range. Its IP65 enclosure is built for outdoor use and readings are unaffected by ambient temperature. There is no radio inside: the sensor outputs a simple pulse to any digital-input device, such as a Milesight UR32 router, and can be powered over the network cable via PoE or from 12 to 60 V DC. Paired with an indoor VS12x or VS13x counter it gives retailers a store-entry conversion rate. Typical uses are storefront windows, passageways and covered arcades.
