EM400-TLD
Screwed to the underside of a bin lid, the EM400-TLD measures how full the container is using a time-of-flight laser with a 2 to 350 cm range and ±2 cm accuracy, so waste teams empty only what is full. A narrow 27° beam means almost no blind spot in small bins, a built-in temperature sensor flags fires, and an accelerometer reports whether the lid is open or the bin has been tipped. The IP67 unit runs around ten years on two replaceable batteries and comes in a LoRaWAN version or an NB-IoT/LTE-M version with GNSS location. Typical uses are street litter bins, campus recycling points and commercial waste containers.

EM400-TLD sends its data over LoRaWAN, so it needs a LoRaWAN Gateway in range. Works with any LoRaWAN Gateway, such as the UG67. If you already have a Gateway on site, you can skip this.
