Wirnet iBTS

The Wirnet iBTS family is Kerlink's scalable carrier-grade base station for operators who expect their network to grow. The Compact model carries one LoRa module giving 16 channels in a lighter IP67 housing with integrated cellular and GPS antennas, while the Standard chassis accepts up to four modules for as many as 80 receive channels with antenna diversity. Both versions offer Ethernet and cellular backhaul, PoE or 11-56 V DC input suitable for solar, fine timestamping on every channel for network-based geolocation, and secure boot, in enclosures rated to -40°C. Coverage reaches more than 15 km line-of-sight and around 2 km in dense urban areas. It is deployed in national and regional LoRaWAN networks, large utility metering programmes and dense city centres.
