Wirnet iEdge / iEdge+

Launched in October 2026, the Wirnet iEdge series links LoRaWAN wireless sensors directly to building and industrial automation systems. A compact DIN-rail unit for electrical cabinets, it combines an eight-channel Semtech SX1302 LoRaWAN radio with an embedded network server for more than 1,000 sensors and native BACnet, Modbus and MQTT support, so sensor data flows straight into a BMS, PLC or Niagara-based platform without new wiring. Built-in edge computing hosts third-party applications and protocol conversion on site, with the iEdge+ adding a dual-core processor, more memory and storage. Ethernet with PoE is standard and 4G is optional, and the gateway is secured by design for EU RED cyber compliance. Ideal for energy retrofits, HVAC control, occupancy and air-quality projects.
