R718N17
Clip the R718N17's clamp-on current transformer around a single live conductor and it reports AC current from 100 mA up to 75 A over LoRaWAN, with better than ±1% accuracy and 1 mA resolution. Only the low secondary current reaches the battery-powered unit, so there is no connection to the mains circuit and nothing to disconnect during installation. Two AA-size lithium batteries last around five years at 30-minute reporting; the IP53 main unit mounts by screw or magnet, and the R718N17E variant has a detachable CT cable. Applications include sub-metering individual loads in offices, hotels and shops, monitoring pumps and heating plant, and confirming equipment run-status.
