For monitoring sulphur dioxide (SO2), the R718PA6 pairs an electrochemical sensor with a LoRaWAN main unit over RS485, reading 0 to 20 ppm with accuracy within ±3% of reading at 25°C and a response time typically under 15 seconds. The main body is powered by a 12 V DC adapter, rated IP65 (IP67 optional) and mounts with a magnetic base, suiting permanent installation in plant areas. Readings are reported at a configurable interval and can be viewed and alarmed through third-party platforms. Applications include monitoring around boilers and fuel-burning plant, industrial processes that use or release sulphur compounds, and environmental air-quality monitoring at site boundaries.
