Pairing a LoRaWAN transmitter with an external RS485 noise probe, the R718PA7 gives continuous sound-level readings from 30 to 130 dB(A) with ±3 dB accuracy and 0.1 dB resolution. Response time is three seconds or less, so short, loud events are captured as well as steady background levels. The main unit is powered from a 12 V DC adapter, is rated IP65 (IP67 optional) and attaches with a magnetic base; the probe itself is rated for -20°C to +60°C. Netvox suggests it for warehouses, server rooms, production floors, libraries, schools, shopping centres and transport hubs, where it can evidence noise complaints, support hearing-protection assessments and flag out-of-hours disturbances.
