R718PDA
For equipment with a legacy RS232 serial port, the R718PDA provides a wireless bridge to LoRaWAN. It sends configured read commands to the attached device at a scheduled interval and passes the replies straight through to the gateway, and as a LoRaWAN Class C device it listens continuously for downlink commands. A 12 V DC adapter powers the unit, which can supply up to 1 A at 12 V to the connected device. The IP65 enclosure (IP57 optional) fixes with a magnetic base. Netvox lists health and medical equipment and smart-home products among its uses; typical deployments include connecting older meters, scales, controllers and instruments to a cloud platform.
